في صباح يوم الإثنين الموافق لـ 13 كانون الثاني لعام 2014 وفي تمام الساعة الواحدة فجراً قصفت قوات الأسد مدينة داريا مستخدمة قنبلة تحمل غازات كيماوية سامة على الجهة الشرقية للمدينة، وتلتها قنبلتين أخرتين في تمام الساعة الواحدة والربع وتسببت بإصابة شخصاً أربعة عشر شخصاً في مكان الانفجار، وبناء على ذلك فإننا في المجلس المحلي لمدينة داريا نحمل نظام الأسد كامل المسؤولية باستخدام السلاح الكيماوي ضد المدنيين العزل في مدينة داريا للمرة الثالثة، ونذكر المجتمع الدولي أن الخطوط الحمراء التي رسمها قد تم تجاوزها كلها من الذبح بالسكين إلى الطيران وانتهاءً باستخدام الغازات السامة، وندعوا اللجنة الدولية للتفتيش عن الأسلحة الكيماوية للدخول إلى مدينة داريا ومعاينة المصابين مباشرة، كما نطالب الهيئات الإغاثية بتحمل كامل مسؤولياتها لإغاثة المدنيين المحاصرين داخل مدينة داريا منذ أكثر من عام.
ونتوجه بداية إلى قيادة المعارضة السياسية وندعوها لتحمل مسؤولياتها كاملة ومن ثم إلى المجتمع الدولي الذي يطالبنا بالتفاوض مع نظام مجرم يقتل شعبه كل يوم ولا يلتزم بالعهود والمواثيق الدولية، كما إنها لم تستطيع حتى هذه اللحظة إدخال المساعدات الإغاثية والطبية إلى المناطق المحاصرة.
وذكر التقرير الطبي الذي أعده الأطباء المشرفين على الحالات التي تعرضت لاستنشاق الغازات السامة إن المصابين ظهرت عليهم الأعراض التي تشابه تماماً الأعراض التي نتجت عن استهداف النظام للأسلحة الكيميائية في مجزرة الغوطتين الشهيرة في 21 / 8 / 2013 وهي:
- زلة تنفسية شديدة ونقص أكسجة.
- سيلان أنف وزيادة في المفرزات اللعابية.
- غثيان وإقياء.
- صداع وألم بطني شديد.
- تشوش في الرؤية وتخليط ذهني.
- بالإضافة إلى تقبض في حدقة العين كما يظهر هنا في صورة المصاب عماد. (يخرج صورة) العين والحدقة الدبوسية.
وقد تم تقديم الإسعافات المتوفرة للمصابين وذلك بإعطاء موسعات القصبات والأتروبين ومضادات التحسس ومضادات الاختلاج ومسكنات الألم، كما تم تهويتهم جيداً، فيما لم يقدم لهم أي علاج نوعي للتسمم بالغازات لعدم توفره في المشفى.
ونتج عن ذلك القصف استشهاد أحد المصابين مباشرة، ومن ثم استشهد ثلاثة مصابين آخرين خلال خمس ساعات، وبدأ باقي المصابين بالتحسن بعد العلاج مع خطورة وضعهم.
وكان النظام المجرم استهل العام الجديد بتصعيد عسكري بربري على مدينة داريا، وجاء ذلك استكمالاً للحملة الشرسة التي بدأها قبل أكثر من عام، مستخدماً فيها البراميل المتفجرة الملقاة من الطيران الحربي على رؤوس المدنيين.
حيث إن هذه البراميل تمتلك قدرة تدميرية عالية جدا ويتراوح وزن البرميل الواحد ما بين 150إلى ألف كلغ (طن)، ويحوي على’مادة "التي ان تي"، وبودرة الألومنيوم، ومسامير وشفرات حادة التي تتحول إلى شظايا قاتلة، فضلاً عن قصاصات وقطع حديدية، وخردوات معدنية.
وكانت قوات الأسد قد ألقت 49 برميلا خلال الستة أيام الماضية من بين 60 برميلا القيت منذ مطلع العام، وهذا ما خلف دماراً هائلاً في الأبنية السكنية. وراح ضحيتها 20 شهيدا منذ بداية العام بالإضافة إلى عشرات الجرحى.
ويتوجه المجلس المحلي بمدينة داريا بتحية إلى أبطالنا الصامدين في سوريا وإلى الطاقم الطبي في سوريا عموما وفي داريا خصوصاً ويدعوا بالرحمة لشهدائنا.
وليعلم العالم أجمع إن التضحيات التي قُدمت ومازالت تقدم كل يوم ماخرج أصحابها إلا نصرة لأرواحهم الجوعى والتي لايُشبع جوعها إلا الحرية والكرامة.

Daraya Under Third Chemical Attack Amid Terrible International Silence

On Monday morning January 13, 2014 at exactly 1:00 AM, Assad forces shelled Daraya using a bomb carrying toxic gases in the eastern part of the town. This was followed by two other bombs at 1:15 AM leaving 14 casualties. Consequently, we, in the Local Council of Daraya City, hold the Assad regime fully responsible for using chemical weapons against unarmed civilians in Daraya for the third time.
We would like to remind the international community that the red lines it drew have been all crossed by the regime, including the use of knives, warplanes and toxic gases. We call on the OPCW committee to enter Daraya and see the victims first hand. We also call on all the aid organizations to assume their responsibilities in aiding the civilians inside Daraya who has been besieged for over a year.
We address the political opposition leadership calling them to shoulder their full responsibilities, and we call on the international community demanding that we negotiate with a criminal regime killing its people every day and does not abide by the international covenants. This comes amid the failure to enter relief and medical assistance to the besieged areas.
A medical report prepared by the doctors who supervised the cases who were subject to toxic gases said that the victims showed symptoms similar to those were seen in the attack by the regime with chemical weapons in the massacre against the two Ghotas of Damascus in 21/08/2013. The symptoms included:
• Severe dyspnea and hypoxia
• Rhinorrhea and increase in the saliva secretions
• Nausea and vomiting
• Headache and severe stomachache
• Blurred vision and hallucination
• In addition to stenosis of the pupil. (as seen in the picture of Imad) pinpoint pupil.
Victims were provided with the available first aid giving them bronchodilators, atropine, anti-allergy drugs, anticonvulsants and pain killers. And they were put in well ventilated areas, however they didn’t receive any specialized treatment for gas poisoning which is unavailable at the hospital.
The shelling resulted in the death of one of the victims immediately, then three others died within five hours, while the rest of the victims started to recover after treatment, yet they are still in serious condition.
The criminal regime has started the new year with a barbaric military escalation on Daraya city, in completion to the fierce campaign it started over a year ago, using explosive barrels dropped from warplanes over the heads of civilians.
The explosive barrels are of high destructive capacity where barrels weights range between 150 KGs and 1000 KGs. They are loaded with TNT, Aluminum powder, nails and sharp blades that become fatal shrapnel, in addition to metal pieces scraps.
The Assad regime dropped 49 barrel bombs within the past six days, of the 60 that has been dropped since the beginning of the year, causing massive destruction in residential houses in addition 20 victims and dozens of others wounded.
The Local Council of Daraya City Salutes our steadfast heroes in Syria and medical teams in Syria in general and in Daraya in specific and it asks God mercy for the martyrs.
The whole world shall know that the ongoing sacrifices have been made by craving souls that only aspire for freedom and dignity.
